by Drew Avance on I love Eight! The staff is cute and friendly, and so are the patrons. The drinks are great and priced right. My only whine is the covers are a little high, but I'm cheap. Anyway they have TWO rooms with different music so they have to pay for it somehow. I appreciate what they've done to make it easier for guys to hit the restroom, too, and the new downstairs back bar is great. Club Dragon is one of my favorites, but Thick is a lot of fun, too. You should check them both out!
by Tom G. on I am right there with Andy S. Great in theory, not great in execution. I went to a Sunday brunch + music thing they did last summer. The food was decent and the music act was average. It was definitely cramped. They get so-so acts with an occasional up-and-coming indie or folk act that I really enjoy. I think the costs tend to be a bit high for some of the better acts, but not super terrible.
