What better way to celebrate a night of drunken debauchery than to nurse your hangover the next morning by getting more plastered! This is THE place for that. Their bottomless mimosas ( I prefer the pomegranate over the regular mimosas) are no joke. The sparkplug was their special shot drink and it put me over the edge to drunkville. After downing a couple, they'll get ya feelin' loose and ready to gyrate those hips. The music definitely helps, too. Depending on the crowd, the atmosphere can get pretty clubbing/house party/sorority party-like. If you're really unlucky, you'll go on a Sunday with boring duds. I've experienced both Limes. The food is just meh. The eggs benedict had a weird texture. The fruit platter was the only decent plate but I can't judge them on cut up fruit. BUT they make up for their sub-par food. with hot waiters, hot patrons, bottomless mimosas, a crazy fun attitude, and a place to let go and get yo'dance on without getting hit on by creepos (like a gay bar cuz you know the the hot waiters/patrons are of the other persuasion). Go to Lime with the mindset to party and a group of friends who have no shame, and you'll have a blast at Lime!

It is SO hard to find a club with great music and strong drinks, but Home has it. I've only been once but it was a really great time. Not so into the $150 bar min but I think that was because I went with a crowd of guys. This club was the only place that had Tanqueray rangpur the first weekend it came out so that's a plus one in my book. The bartenders were really great- unfazed and was very quick with service. Another plus one. Not sure who the DJ was that night, but he was AMAZING. IF he played a top 40 hip hop song, it was mixed extremely well.

I used to rave about Middlesex, but it has gone downhill. There is a huge line on the weekends - not because it's full, but because the bouncers want to make it look super exclusive. The place isn't that big, but the sofas are on wheels so can be moved around, especially if the music is good and people want to dance. But the music is hit or miss. I actually think Middlesex is better on the weekdays than the weekends when the randoms looking for the "NYC bar" come in. I'd recommend checking out sosolimited who does their audio/video DJ set the last Wednesday of the month. All in all, for Cambridge, Middlesex is a hip place to go. There is a $5 cover some nights and weekends.
