I do believe I've reviewed this place once before, and I would have provided you kids with a fabulous picture of its insides except 1. The interior was not that fabulous, and 2. Some ass attempted to lift my phone while I was there. Safe to say, my phone has since been recovered, and I will never frequent this trashy excuse for a nightclub? lounge? empty bar? again. Good luck and Good night Ecco. Its going to have to take some lonely 30 year olds to keep you in business. http://prettiestboy.bl...

I've been to East Side Show Room a few times now, but only once have I had the opportunity to enjoy a cocktail. The most recent time, I encountered a 2 hour wait at 9pm, and a warning from the hostess that I shouldn't bother going to the bar because they were busy making drinks for people at the tables. A wait is fine, but that seemed a little extreme. I left. When I went to East Side Showroom previously (around 11pm on a Saturday), my friends and I were seated immediately. Service was a bit slow, but since the cocktails were rather complicated, I think that's to be expected. And I enjoy the ambiance. The candles, the repurposing of vintage materials, the periscope with beer taps, and the interesting artwork make this a neat space. The tables and chairs were interesting without being uncomfortable; though some tables might have been a little small if I'd been ordering a full meal. I will give ESSR another try. I'm interested in their menu, which seemed to feature locally grown foods and change seasonally. But next time, I guess I need to make a reservation.
