by lisa r. on We stopped in for the $5.00 "Recession Margaritas" and stayed for the cool dark vibe of the place. The trio of salsa and bean dip was so good. The Margaritas pretty strong. I loved the romantic floor to ceiling blue velvet walls, sombrero lights on the ceiling, dimly lit booths you can wrap yourself in with your loved-one. In fact it is so dark in there it takes 5 minutes for your eyes to adjust. Did I say ROMANTIC??? I am recommending mostly for the atmosphere but, for sure the experience left a positive impression! To just turn 21 and be able to hang out here and drink $5 Margaritas...I'd feel like I joined an exclusive club.
