by Mike N. on 3.5 Great atmosphere, good cajun food. Although I don't like to pay $20 for a plate of creole all that often, theirs was worth it. Very tasty. Delicious salad before the meal as well. Liked the use of locally sourced ingredients in some plates. Although the 2 pieces of bread they brought were delicious, you need more than that when eating creole or etouffee.
by Latasha Roper on If you love hip hop then you definitely want to check this place out on wednesday nights. My cousin and I were looking to try some new bars in the area and this just happened to be the first one we walked into. First things I noticed, no door guy checking id's, the place is small, and there were lots of people. On the plus side the hip hop the dj was playing was pretty solid. I'd say out of the 50+ people there that night, my cousin and I stuck out like a sore thumb being among some of the only white people there. Never the less, we enjoyed ourselves. Cheap drinks with $4 dollar red stripes. Certainly a cool place to have a drink but being how small it is, not a whole lot of room to dance or walk around that much. If you love good hip hop check it out, but don't go too far out of your way if you are looking for just another bar.

If you're over 23 years old the only reason you have to walk in the door here is to get plastered. That's it. This place is not "fun" and it is not "cool." It is where you go when you, you booze bag, have a spiritual mission to get housed. Have scorpion bowl races with your friends. Race yourself. And do it quickly, so you forget where you are.
