by Polina P. on I really loved the atmosphere at this place. Dark and swanky with a DJ playing original mixes in a balcony like area. We had a group of about 9 people and were seated fairly quickly for a Friday night. My bf and I ordered chicken satay and the spicy tuna tartare. Frankly I don't even remember eating because the food was gone so fast. The only thing that remained was the peanut sauce from the chicken satay. I didn't let that go to waste either. I used my chop sticks to savory that as well. I would love to come back to this place for a full dinner on my next trip to New York.
by Erik F. on I love this place. It has all of the funky decor, music, and vibe of an upscale club... but without any of the pretentiousness. Seemingly, everyone is there just to enjoy a drink and have a good time; and there's always a good mix of people there. If you're looking for something other than the same old-same old bar stool scene, check out Halo. It's a cool spot. Kind of a hidden gem in what used to be the center of "clubbing" land in midtown. I'm glad it's survived all the changes in midtown and continues to be a fun spot to hang out.
