I came here last night for my friends' 30th birthday. I didn't know what to expect besides food and a show. We walked in and was greeted by their friendly staff. We had a party of 19 so the seating arrangement was kind of tight. The seats are really slippery. My friend almost fell off his stool and I glided on the booth with ease. At least we know the seating is clean :) I was comfy on the booth side, but people on the stools were not as comfortable. The ladies there are beautiful inside and out. I got nothing but positive attitudes and a great show. Food: preset dinner. Family style in tapa portions. It was just enough for everyone where you won't over eat and go into a food coma. There were a few dishes that was a complete miss where it tasted nothing like the description. The soba was too sour and the least favorite of the night. The salmon had a description of a miso glaze, but it just tasted like grilled salmon. The salmon was good nonetheless. The blackened ahi tuna was good, but I wished there was Wasabi and soy sauce to go with it. Other than those few things, the food was enjoyable. It is a bit on the pricey side, but it's definitely an experience. You also get access to their lounge afterwards so that's a plus.

I came here for the third time this past Thursday, and after that, my whole outlook of Sidetracks has changed. Before this experience I would have said sidetracks is a good, relaxed placed to come watch some games, drinks some beers (great specials during football games), nice place for happy hour with friends, (again good drink specials)..... but it wasn't until a devilish Thursday that I realized that I hate yet love Sidetracks! Every Thursday night, Sidetracks has an open bar from 11pm to 2am (or 1am... the night is so blurry) for $20 for girls, I think maybe $25 for guys. Anyways... it is mayhem! Mayhem! Now you would think it's a great deal, $20 for open bar...sign me up! Well no, its not, it sucks! I spent the entire time trying to get drinks! You are literally at the bar for like 20-30 minutes trying to get a bartender's attention, and at this point I'm asking for as many drinks as I can carry because I don't have the patience to wait another 30 minutes for a drink. Sidetracks please hire more bartenders! You should have at least 6 taking care of the bar, it's simply ridiculous. Other than that, which is EXTREMELY irritating, the music is great, the place is packed, and I had a great time. This applies to Thursday nights after 11pm, any other day, Sidetracks is pretty much ok. Thursday nights are definitely where the party is at!
