by Garfield Kubes on Been here a few times with the last time being the best: Listening Lounge's 3rd Year anniversary. It doesn't get better than live music, DJs, art, food, drinks, and friends. Cover was $5 but we got there early so somehow we got in for free. Happy hour was still going on so I took advantage of the $4.50 beers while it lasted. Afterward, I remember two mixed drinks was $18 which is a little steep, but at the same time expected. That's why you pre-drink in the car, my friends! My only beef with this place is that they need more bartenders. It took me a good 20 minutes to finally get my way to the front and pay off my tab -- which I had been keeping track of on my iPhone and they were dead on with the total. Left a nice tip. I'll be coming back here for sure to see The Park, So Timeless, or any other worthy artists/bands/DJs coming through. You should go too.
