by Al Lewis on This place was the best bar in the last. 25 years in the Metrowest area, boy I miss the pitchers of beer and great entertainment. Food was great for a night club / pub too. This place always had the hottest babes.
by Tony N. on At some point while I was working on another Corona, it hit me that I was drinking beers from a bucket, conversating with my new favorite Yawkah and watching the sunset behind Jersey on a boat. A fucking boat. I don't even get to do that in San Diego, where the sunsets of the Pacific Ocean look way better than a Jersey sunset. I also thought that these people must be the cause of any potato famine in the near future because they were frying 100,000,000 fries an hour.

That even makes LA prices look good.. The music was pretty awesome, but besides that, the place was small, the crowd was older, and the drinks were too expensive. by Tracey Sadak on I've never actually been here, but I hate this place. I really really really hate this place. I went with my friend to a private party which another friend hosted. We stood outside as the bouncer let in a bunch of skanky club circuit girls (you know the type) in who weren't even invited to the private party. When he finally decided to acknowledge our presence, he told us we could not go in because I was wearing flip flops. Stop. This is not NY, or any other city in the world. This is L.A., and in L.A., you can go pretty much anywhere (especially to an outside bar by a pool) in flip flops. The bouncer suggested I go home and change. Oh, ok. I want to get in (to a private party I was invited to) so bad, I am going to go home and put shoes on. Um, I don't think so. This is typical Hollywood b.s. I know Hollywood is very trendy right now, but I still view it as the same seedy prostitute/drug infested area it was 5 years ago.
