by Clifford Y. on I've been on all 3 floors before. This past Friday night, I joined some friends on the rooftop and had a great time. We got wristbands in the front, and were taken in by the workers who are usually friendly. You go up to the roof by elevator; there's one person that escorts you to the elevator, and one person working the elevator. I kinda got the feeling of going on the "Tower of Terror" ride at Disneyland. We got to the rooftop, which had comfy couches n tables in the middle, and canvas-like areas on the side. It's pretty nice and chill. One main bar, and one small bar (cash only) on the side, with a dj working on his set up. It was open bar (vodka drinks only) until 11pm. Yikes! Music selection from what I remember was pretty good, I remember hearing mostly hip hop. This is a good thing! Drinks are super pricey, as you would expect from a club in Hollywood. From what I remember: - 1 hennessy&coke and 1 double hennessy&coke = 36$ - 2 coronas = 14.50$ I got a bunch of other stuff but I don't really remember how they were priced. The bartenders were super nice tho, one of them made a special shot for the gf & I. I would say my rooftop experience here was actually a 4 star experience, whereas my other experiences at the bottom levels was more of a 2 star experience. The crowd on the rooftop was pretty chill, but I think that's because I was familiar with them. In most cases the crowd (bottom floors in particular) can be pretty ghetto... All in all, I'll average out my rating. Solid 3 stars.
by Tek on a jar B. on I've been here once for Banana Split Sundays. Resident / Guest DJ's Steve Aoki, DJ AM, Uffie, Busy P slash fam were all the rage that night. We were guestlisted under BPM Mags list, which did absolutely nothing about beating any line. You really have to know people to get without ANY wait. After getting in, the DJ's, live music was great. Nice place to go on a Sunday night if you're into House/Electro/Hipster music. If you're into girls and boys that dress grunge mixed with thrift slash vintage slash fashion - staylllish then this would be heaven for you. :) Also thumbs up if you like to dance by yourself, napoleon dynamite style and not worry about being groaped by drunkards
