by jonathan s. on visiting philadelphia for the weekend just to eat a cheesesteak and stumbled across this place so thought wed try it out. food was good but i cant remember what we ordered. some sort of sandwich. weird thing was........there was some sort of magic show that was pretty entertaining and very creepy.
by Jordan Bosko on Bruno's was a delightful experience. I came here for my friend's birthday and everyone pretty much left drunk (except me, bah! designated driver!). At first I was worried because when we arrived because there was a long line. It moved rather quickly and cover was only $10 for a Saturday night. Drinks were pretty good--I got the lychee martini-YUM. There is a small dance floor although for some reason I never got around to it. Good music and the crowd of people were pretty laid back except the girls comparing boobs in the bathroom line...

It was an attempt at being an upscale trendy fusion chinese food place, but actually it was just bland chinese food. Nothing special. Great decor though, a giant buddha staring at you while you eat. They had some weird pinball machines in the bathroom stalls, u couldn't use them but they were a nice decoration. Drinks are good, but it's filled with wannabe trendsters and hipsters, it gets old real quick. I don't know why non asians love going to these restaurants that serve so so food and say its the greatest thing ever. Must be the booze. You might want to stop in for drinks but leave and go elsewhere for the food.
