by Troy B. on Great place to stay if you have no problem navigating through sketchy neighborhoods. If I was a family from a midwestern small town I would look elsewhere. Affordable, great breakfast, swimming pool, parking and clean rooms. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in SF.
by Joey Elliott on Went here last night (a Wednesday, mind you), to see a friends band ('So Many Wizards', check out their MySpace). This place is radical. Depending on where youre coming from, it can be a pain in the ass to get to, but I was happy once I found the spot. There was free parking in the lot behind the bar. The bouncer was cool and joked around with my buddy and I (even though, at first glance, with his all black suit and black button down, I would have assumed the guy would have been an a-hole). We got inside, and the decor is f'ing awesome. Darkly lit, red light chandeliers everywhere, cool couches, booths, and chairs, long bar w/ cute and really nice(!) bartender, great beer options (not too pricey), awesome intimate stage, good acoustics, solid crowd, etc etc etc. Im sure I could find something wrong with this place if i needed to, maybe if I went on some over packed Saturday night when all the d-bags pile in, but being able to study the bar on a somewhat empty night, I conclude for the time being that this is a cool cool spot. Definitely wanna head back some night soon if Im in the area to make sure my review is on point. Check it out and enjoy! Cheers!!
by Ike Groszkiewicz on Kinda wannabe pretentious crowd there. Had a great time as we were with a great group of people, had bottle service and a waitress serving us throughout the night. I wouldn't recommend this place for just a small group, it doesn't seem as if it would be much fun for them. Some of the people walk around like their stuff don't stink, so be prepared for that. Had a great time, but again. I think the main reason I had a good time was because of the people I came with. So, enter at your own will.
by Nancy L. on I visited Grayson's Tavern for lunch while working in the area. It was fantastic! The food was super delicious. There wasn't a lot of items on the menue to choose from but what they had was out of this world delicious! YES! I would go back again and take someone with me. I would drive from out of town to go there just for lunch.
