Went to Kat's for the first time this week. It's what I guess you'd call a "hole in the wall" spot but I mean that in a nice way. I went to hear a live latin/salsa band play and to get a little dancing in. I was able to do just that. It's small and hard to find if you don't know where to look. The drinks that night were just ok. My friend ordered a pizza but didn't really like it. I didn't try the food. I'll definitely go back to hear a band play in laid back atmosphere. Oh, and maybe not every Wednesday but when I was there they had free salsa lessons which was fun.

Place reminded me and my girlfrend of someones big living room / haunted mansion theme? Anyways, the venue has a lot of hype, as the rating says, this place is $$$! The cover, unless you know someone, is expensive, drinks, although good and mild, expensive ($10 per drink), and music was fairly good. DJs had been good, not crazy good but good. Songs seemed to be a mixture of R&B, old school and a little new school hip hop. Bartender was probably the best part of the club, friendly and helpful, knew how to mix and pour. If u want a place to chill and relax in a mansion style atmosphere, come here. If not try a lounge / bar that doesn't charge u a small meal to sit down and have a drink over loud music

It's like a dive bar with good Ethiopian food. It's reasonably priced, and they have a few Ethiopian beers that I haven't seen at any other bar in the city. The jukebox selection is good, too. A couple of cons: Small tables, slow service.
