by Will T. on Fuck. This. Shithole. Fucking disrespectful frownyfaced asshole waiters. All right food. Hideous prices, attitude, service and general experience. The "highlight" of the evening was being creepily hit on by the coat check chicks after being monetarily assraped by their male cohorts in the dining room. That and the redbull truck parked outside with the snowboarding videos. I'm definitely going back to start a brawl and vomit on something expensive. It's a respect thing.
by Ema Tickle on Jillian gets one star from Rateclub (everyone does) and one from me, because the food is decent. My friends and I ordered quite a bit of food, and it didn't break the bank. One friend's pizza was absolutely picture perfect, with a crispy thin crust for those who are not crazy about carbs. My other friend ate her salmon on top of cilantro jasmine rice in ten minutes flat, and judging by her comments and look of utter content I'd say it was good. My warm goat cheese salad with candied walnuts and apples was light and fresh. Now for the bad news. We were told over the phone that there would be pool availabe tonight: WRONG. Private party. We can't play until 10. And when 10 came around we were told not until 11:30. Hmmmm.... this might have been nice to know.... six hours earlier!!!! Our server was very slow, and the place was not even close to being busy. Splitting the bill is always hard, and I completely understand he had trouble running the numbers through. However, when he began to have an attitude my empathy ran out. Last but not least... the clientele. Jillian's used to have a decent crowd. What we saw tonight was,,, not... that.
