by Aaron L. on I've officially stepped out of my OC bubble to go clubbing in LA. I've never paid or waited in line for a club in Orange County, but I was prepared to do both when venturing to a far off new land to party with no connection of any sort. THE GOOD: - This place is pretty huge. Two levels, a large outside patio, and tables/cabanas everywhere. - Free tacos. - Free s'mores. - Big stage to watch professional dancers (female and male) do their thang. THE BAD: - I waited in a line of one out in the cold. I expected to wait if it was on n' poppin', but it wasn't on the night I went. - It was relatively dead all night (again, on the night I went). - $20 cover. Guys or girls. - $10 parking. - DJ was ehhhh. - $40 for 3 shots. THE UGLY: - The crowd. Okay, the crowd wasn't THAT bad.. But I dressed up, and some dude got in before I did, donning a t-shirt and Chucks. Not cool. Tip: There's some crazy random step in a dark hallway on the way to the restroom. Be prepared to twist your ankle falling down it.
by Lawrence Quibodeaux on i hate clubs i didnt hate this one because i got in for free and left very drunk. lines to the bathroom are very long. i left the club with 2 phone numbers. i hope neither of them read this review. shit. 3 stars for the DJ, lots of 80's and rock n' roll. happy times in the n y c. now i need a job.
