by Salley Paraz on Alright, let's preface this by saying I came here on my birthday night at around midnight, Saturday. Assume what you will and let's move on: I had a great time. I mean, let's be real..I'm not one who will let something like the choice of a venue destroy my mission of dancing and having-a-grand-old-time, so it didn't. If all you're going to do is stand around and nitpick, of course you're going to hate it. But I went with a great group of friends who were all of the same mind-set and I'd say this was a case of mission: accomplished. Now to the facts: I paid $15 to get in, coat check was free. The dancing area was much larger than I expected (I was thrilled) and bars were conveniently located throughout to fulfill your alcoholic tendencies. There happened to be a silly frat-boy fight when we went, which was taken care of quickly. The music was a good mix, current and not, and the DJ didn't feel the need to talk over it every 5 minutes (I haaaate that, I didn't come to hear you). Bartenders were friendly, people were friendly, there were definitely some that were trying too hard but there were others who, like me, saw this just as an excuse to get down. As much as it seemed that I liked this place, I probably wouldn't come back here again except for an event...like another birthday or somesuch. Because, really, there are smaller, better places to go to if I wanted to just dance. :( Don't worry, Saint, we can still be friends...right?
by Hilary Greek on My roommate loves this place, and him and his friends always take me here. Drinks are good, you get what you pay for if you know what bartender to go to! I'm not a big dancer these days, but get enough booze in me and i'll be down there. Go-Go dancers surrounded by the straight females hoping they have a snow balls chance in hell. Sometimes people can be rude. The taco stand inside is good, but wayyy overpriced. The outside staff are always pleasent. Friday's are the best night, call in before five and you're on the guest list!! so no cover charge! I've never waited in line all the times i've been there, so i feel bad for those who have complained about the wait. all and all a pretty good place.
