This place is FUN! Love the MUSIC, Bartenders are quick and good looking!. Thanks! Bouncer TOLD YA! The place It's Small, but good crowd (Less than 1,000 Square feet) Mix crowd (when i was there on a Saturday Night). African American, Asians crew. Drinks are not bad $ 8.00 for a Vodka red bull or $ 4.00 for a bottle of beer. AC is pretty strong. Not bad after you dance. that's A PLUS! Music is mostly Hip Hop, Reggae, some top 40's. Good for small group to hang out and have some fun!.

I love Bleecker St, but this bar needs to be shut down. The Staff is rude, can't hear anything you order. More importantly there is no space and if you want to sit down you have to be in a group of more then 6 and order at least three drinks and good The band was good but that's it So many better on option on Bleecker then this place

The very first time I went to Duvet was back in 2007 for my 21st birthday and I recently came back here again for a friend's birthday last month. What lured me at first to this place were the beds.. interesting idea. There were only 5 of us when I came in 2007 (since most of my friends weren't 21+ yet), so I didn't bother reserving a bed or getting bottle service, etc. We came on a Saturday night. There was actually a snow storm the previous night so it was pretty cold when we came. I accidentally put my feet in a big puddle of water/snow (so my feet pretty much swam in ice haha). Luckily, I didn't feel it that much since I was already a bit inebriated. Anyway, we had to wait forever in line of course. Then we each paid $20 to get in. Their drinks were pretty expensive. We still had a good time dancing the night away though and jumping on the huge "common" bed that they used to have by the dance floor. Last month, we went on a Friday night for my best friend's party. She had a joint party with another friend there so we had a lot of people on guestlist. Their promoter promised them that their party would have a "VIP" line and would not have to wait long to get in. Well guess what, when we got there, we did have a VIP line but they separated the guys and girls line and some people pretty much waited a good half hour to an hour or so to get in (meanwhile, there were barely any people in the club). Luckily I got there a bit before everyone else and even got in before the Birthday girl! can you believe it?! They hold that damn line to wait until after midnight to let people in just so people will have to pay AT LEAST $20 to get in. And fortunately, I got in before the midnight cut-off for complimentary admission and was able to get my bf in as well. There's also a ratio, be sure to have girls with you to get in, but guys in general will have to wait longer than girls. My friend had a bed reserved for her friends and the other birthday celebrant also had another bed too. Of course, we had bottle service with 2 bottles of vodka. My bf also got both of us a couple of drinks before the bottles came out (which was pretty much consumed within 5 minutes..my friends are alcoholics lol). It was a pretty good night at Duvet. They played music that I really like. As the night progressed, it got really packed and it was really hard to maneuver through that place. But unfortunately, I had to leave early.. I guess it's a decent place but it's quite overpriced. I guess that's normal for any club. I won't go back here unless it was for another friend's birthday party or I get in for free..
