by Sid Pennie on Really like the new location for Leisure, a britpop nightclub/dance club. Upstairs is a lot more roomy, with a bigger Karaoke room and a quieter room next to it with couches, windows on to the street, and a fireplace. British Pop karaoke you can't find anywhere else (Glasvegas! The Editors!!). Russell, the karaoke host, is rad. Minus one star for the cash only bar and the limited beer selection.

Felt like pushing some trouble makers down the stairs because they got too close for comfort.! The drink service wasn't too bad. I saw a lot of old friends who would say" Peter! what are you doing here!" Now you know I don't go clubbing and it's surprising when you do. Located in the Tenderloin but there is nothing tender about this hood! Park your car in the garage because if you park on the streets your bound to end up with a dent or broken window from the druggies who stole your stock stereo.! Inexpensive because I have never paid for cover charges and I don't know about the line either because I never stood in one before.
by Tara H. on The only complaint I really have about my experience at Red House is the extreme heat. Since I cannot rightly blame the weather on this little joint, I guess I will have to suck it up and deal. I love their little yard/porch area and it is the perfect space to meet friends for a drink after work. Kinda bummed about El Gringo moving out, but glad that Red House has been keep on keepin' on. The wait staff was great - kept the drinks coming and at a decent price.
