So...I got an email saying my review for this place was taken off because it was determined that my review for this place falls outside review guidelines. Uh..what? So now I am writing my first hand crappy experience at this crappy bar with the crappiest bartender in the universe. I know it was crappy because I remember it clear as day. I have to say...this is probably one of the worst bar experiences I've ever had. The bartender we had was just horrible. Here's the situation... We walk up to the crowded bar. Finally make it to the front to order some drinks. We ask for Jager Bombs (by the way...do New Yorkers not drink Jager Bombs cuz we had hell of time ordering them in New York?). The bartender shakes his head and moves on to another patron at the bar. Ummm...ooookay. He comes back to us...we order a Raspberry Kama Kaze. Again, he shakes his head and takes the order for another patron. What the eff is this? The bartender only makes drinks he wants to make or something? Still...we give him another chance. He comes to take our order again. Goose and tonic. Again with the head shake. Moves on to take an order from someone else. By this time, we are pretty damn pissed off. We tried to ask what the problem is. He just shook his and didn't say a word. We left pissed vowing never to return to this crappy @$$ bar again. Never. By the way...I took a nice little pic of this head shaker who doesn't make drinks customers order. Wait for it...

It's hard to write a review on Hollywood / Los Angeles night clubs because so many people go on different nights that cater to different crowds, so it's hard for everybody to stay consistent. All I can base my review on is when I attended this place... It was a Sunday night and a nice little lady decided to take me out here. Apparently, it was DJ AM's B-Day and, I never really been to this place. Got up there and it looked like nothing was going on. Got inside and it opened up to chic little club / bar. I was diggin' it. The crowd was definitely diverse. There was a slew of fashionistas, hipsters, hot Hollywood hoes, hair stylists, young socialites and then you had a good number of your typical clubbing guido types. And, I liked the crowd! It was good stuff...and maaayyybe it was only because it was DJ AM's B-Day? I don't know. The night went on and so then Steve Aoki started DJing. Loved his set. Played all my favs. I shuffled my little feet and shook my hips and I was good to go. Then DJ AM came on and he too spun some more than decent (if not really impressive) songs and mixes. So in conclusion, I had a kick ass time! Maaayyybbee only go here if you know that DJ AM (and Steve Aoki and what ever other sweet ass DJ's you know) are spinning? I don't know, just a thought. I haven't been here since, so I can't say. I always hear it's hard to get in so I get discouraged, but one of these nights...I'm comin (that'swhatshesaid).

Rude staff, pretentious bouncers with black clothing, velvet rope = nonsense. This place is actually pretty shabby (for a mansion), the layout is weird, and the drinks are weak and overpriced. The music is really bad, and the place just reeks of everything I used to hate about Rittenhouse nightclubs.
