Only went to dinner here, so I won't be writing about upstairs. I can find better places to club. I've been here a couple of times, as my gf and I enjoy the park feel and its on the west side which helps. The food on the most part is fairly priced, though if I wanted most of the more expensive items I'd go somewhere more culinarily-inclined to get them. In the times I've been there I've had the chicken dish which was good and the chicken caesar salad which was disappointingly devoid of much chicken. The dressing was really good though. I stuck with my Guinness, though any import for more than $7 annoys me a bit and makes me want to retreat back uptown to get them for $5 bucks. She had a 14 dollar dessert cocktail which I tried and it was good, and was straight liquor, which for that much it damn well should have been. On the most part its good. A nice ambiance and nice waitstaff. Will be heading back there again.

Good old star bar. I miss you so much. I used to live in Atlanta and it was a sure bet I was either at The Star Bar or The Gravity Pub. The Star Bar is a great dive bar. It's a great mix of people, music, and alcohol. The bartenders were always friendly and made a strong drink. The drink pices are pretty reasonable. They had kick ass bands and djs. And you either came out smelling like a brewery, cigarettes or both. How could you not love it? It reminds me a little of Johnny's here in LA minus the live music. If you ever go to Atlanta go here. It's a definite treat for the senses.

Buddha Bar in New York does not compare to the one in Paris. Nevertheless, it's still a fun place to go for dinner. The food is great and has a beautiful presentation - the sushi is extremely fresh. The service is also very good. It has a large signature Buddha and a cool bar/lounge area. On the downside, it can have a pretentious feel and is just a little bit over priced.
