This place is like a beautiful woman with bad breath: loads of style with some substantive issues. No one dining in our party of +8 loved their meal. It ranged from a salty and bland shrimp and grits to similarly bland peas and rice. The accompanying oxtails served with the latter were better than fair. I had an impressive grilled pork chop. It was a huge portion...which was fortunate as it was served with the most anemic mix of corn and green beans imaginable. I mean even when crowded together the veg serving didn't completely cover a square inch on the plate. Id have dismissed it as garnish had the dish been balanced with a carb or any other small salad. But it was just this oddly huge hunk of pork and 20 kernels of corn with about 10 beans. Odd. The sweet potato fries were appreciated, the cocktails were good and dessert was satisfying. The chocolate dream is a moussed cake concoction served cold. It paired well with passable coffee. The peach cobbler was a very large, warm, gooey delight. Its the kind of place perfect for not-so-hungry girls (and guys). Maybe a cocktail evening AFTER a good meal with a bit of dessert. Great music, attractive crowd, and groovy ambiance are the selling points. Halfway through the evening I realized what it felt like: one of those impossibly cool liquor print ads with multicultural beautiful people!

good place to take in a game or kick it with some friends. Bouncers get tough pretty quick so keep you hands to yourself. With that being said, a very safe atmosphere for the ladies. Crowd is always a mix of young and old. All around good time and must go to for someone visiting town.

I stumbled into this place on a Tuesday to grab some dinner. The place had a trendy decor and seemed kind of empty maybe it was due to the day of the week. Sidetracks seems like more of a place to have drinks than dine at. Anyways, on to the food ... For an appetizer, I had the lobster ravioli with calamari. This dish wasn't bad. You can taste they had fresh seafood and the lobster was in chunks and not blended up. For the main course, I had the black pepper and egg fettucine with shrimp and scallops. Again the seafood was fresh and the scallops were huge on this dish. The pasta was average and didn't like the lemon in it. The service is not really existent here. No greetings or thank yous as we came and left the place. Our waitress only stopped by to take our order and to give us our check. I'm not sure where she was since there wasn't too many customers ... maybe taking a nap. Our dishes were served by the bus boys and I wasn't even offered any pepper or grated cheese on my pasta. Just the overall feeling was kinda cold/rude. Entrees range around $14 - $32. I don't think I'd purposely come back here. But I think only come here as a Plan C and you happen to be in Sunnyside.
