So far, after checking out only 4 clubs: Love, Pink Elephant, Pacha and Marquee, Marquee is the only one I'll visit again. (though I am looking, oh Lord, for a terrific club that meets ALL my criteria) I would say this is not a 3 stars but a respectable 3 1/2. For me it is mostly about THE MUSIC. I want to know that the DJ has a firm grasp on the pulse of his party people, and these boys did. (wish I knew if they were always there Saturday nights??) I can't stand constant beats that go no where and never tell a story. These guys mixed it up with lots of deep funk bass that gets you making that "Fuch yeah!" scowl while you're pointing at some complete stranger on the other side of the dance floor who's holding a bottle of vodka in his hand pointing right back at you making that same "Fuch yeah!" scowl face. (yes - that really happened). They mixed in stuff you know into the techno dance tunes and made everyone smile and have a great time. The other room was also a great spot - very crowded (private party I think but we walked right in). Hip Hop and Top 40 for a little variance. I'm not a big fan of Beyonce, but it was alright. The decor could be better. It lacked something. The stairs leading up to the second room seemed lonely and dark and somehow misplaced. People needed to be dancing up there but the bouncers wouldn't allow it. As far as pretty people. Not so much. And whoa gender split! Waaay more guys than girls. Still,it was a real crowd of non-pretentious adults who were genuinely smiling and seemed to really have a great time. That's all pluses in my book.

One of my favorite Sunday night go with the family in shorts place!!! Menu is small but doesn't have to be any bigger. Just get a burger, the sweet potato fries and kick back with a beer or 2. The only complaint is that I end up eating too many fries before the burger comes and I am full. I would go every night if I didn't care how much I weigh.
