by Emerson Warde on To rate Minx as a restaurant, not a club - The ambience is good. The decoration is cool. The location is convenient. Parking is free (on a Tues evening). I bougth a $25.00 coupon from http://Restaurant.comand went to Minx with my hubby yesterday. The complimentary pre-dinner bread with the honey & chili butter and hummus spread are pretty good. We ordered 8oz filet mignon and New York steak (both medium rare). The meat is tender and juicy. We checked out the dessert menu and didn't order anything; the price range is from $8.00 to $12.00 for desserts. The service is attentive. The only complaint was that my hubby can barely taste the alcohol in the mojito. Well, it costs $5.00 from the happy hour special. Maybe that's the reason?
