I loved the cave downstairs, but I think it could be improved with some lasers & maybe strobe lights. It could have been the beer goggles, but it is wayy too dark down there. Drinks are on the pricier side, but they don't have a cover charge so it evens out. Plus they pack quite a punch... This place is unique. Cheers to Bubble lounge for a very bubbly night!
by mike G. on much like buddha bar in paris, this outpost is now frequented by tourists. from both in and ot-of-town. feels dated, but fine for a drink. and yeah, you will get better eats elsewhere.
by Ali Stojanovic on Summary: Eye candy I have had a better time at the lobby bar of the Sir Francis Drake Hotel upon which this bar sits. The evening we went, the cover was $15 which I suppose pays for the view. The decor and city view are this bars strongest points. Our waitress (hostess or whatever the PC thing to call her) was very beautiful and elegant. Drinks are of good quality but on the expensive side. The overall feel of the staff, though, borders on pretension. I may be more used to the amiability of smaller (i.e. less fancy) lounges. The DJ played a good selection of music but his beat mixing needs a bit of work. The security personnel are quite professional.
