New Year's Eve: No definate plans... only that we want to be in the city. The group decides on 330 Ritch and the lines takes forever, we almost missed the countdown. When we finally get in, we make a beeline to the bar and get the party going before the countdown. I had no idea what 330 Ritch had to offer, but they played hip hop (my #1 choice of music at clubs). It's a tiny place, but the bar was big enough so most people can easily access it. . The night was a kind of a blur - thanks to the bar. But at the end of the night, I can say I had a lot of fun!

I went on a multi-stop trip of Buford Highway and we found this gem. I'd stopped at a smaller location in Duluth, which has its own charm, but this one is a bit closer to intown and is great. Free wi-fi, delicious breads and baked goods, coffee, frozen yogurt, and bubble teas. Very modern design and lots of seating. It's also OPEN LATE - around 11pm-midnight if I recall correctly. Starbucks eat your heart out...

Definitely my FAVORITE place to DJ in Boston. THe sound system is ROCKING (that is when I'm not overheating it) the atmosphere is anything but Boston and the nights are typically filled with debautchery! I love getting a chance to pull out the big guns for a big crowd and getting such a positive reaction to house music at home. Beautiful dancers, respectful staff and attentive waitresses make it a DJ's dream (once you've proven yourself worthy that is!). If get a chance to check it out, track down the light guy CYRANO and tell him thank you. If it wasn't for him that place would STILL be the juke box! UNDABAAAHH AH AH AH AH AAAAAH....
