All things considered, it was sort of the perfect way to ring in the new year. - Celebrations with some old friends and some new friends. - Reconciled with a friend whom I spent most of 2008 ignoring - Lost my phone, and like magic ... found my phone - Ate figs and passed out a bunch to strangers - Realize how much I love red bull and vodka - Cash bar so I had to spend everyone else's money - Eye patches are neat but they mess up my hair - Mashups are awesome and I can dance forever to good music - Never had to wait in line for a drink - Saw a bartender in a baby's outfit - Cried a little - Laughed a lot If my night here is symbolic of how 2009 will be as a year, then I'm hopeful to the surprises it has in store for me.

A good friend of mine moved near Grace. We checked it out last week. I liked the Vegan burger, and I thought they had a good beer selection. The bartender, I felt, was a little over extended. Poor guy had to work the entire room by himself, so it took a little while to get noticed. BUT, for a guy in the weeds, he was very nice and never seemed to be too overwhelmed to answer any questions about the menu or life in general. Not a bad place to hang out.

Amazing Summer Chill Out Spot ! Great atmospher, almost feels like getaway within the city. Cool diverse crowd so everyone has their pick !!! Drinks are reasonably priced for West Side/Chelsea Bar ! Good to Go ! Open spaces to have cigarettes for those who likes one after a drink etc.
