I only give it 4 stars because it really is a beautiful venue. Just be sure to watch out for whos promoting that night because if its AG...youre gonna pay some serious bucks if a celebrity is there that night. but anyhow, they have 3 different spots and the back garage is a hell hole when it gets crowded i swear the air does not work in there. but like i said, its a beautiful location, half inside half outside and since the renovations, be careful walking down those stairs ladies!

I went here for dinner for my friend's birthday a few weeks ago and loved it. I've been to Silk numerous times for Mo Money No Problems on Thursday nights, and ate here when it was a gritty late-night diner but this was my first time eating at the facelift version. It was sooo good. I don't know if it was the relaxed atmosphere of sitting outside in the beer garden, or if the food was really that delicious. We all decided to split a few appetizers. The baked mac and cheese with the garlicky crust and I seriously had a food orgasm while eating it. I usually don't even order mac & cheese out, I'm more of a mom's homemade type of girl but I am so glad I did. I don't remember what else we ate, but it was all bangin'. I'm definitely coming here for dinner again.

Mamajuana has got to be one of the best Dominican restaurants in the city. It's an upscale place with large, delicious portions and a distinct classiness that I wasn't expecting. Every meal I've had there, (while somewhat pricey) has been more food than I could eat in a sitting - and I've always been happy to bring some home. The place can definitely get packed (especially on Flamenco nights), and you may have to wait to get a table (it's worth it). They've got some deals on food and Sangria if you're there before 7pm, and the staff is always attentive.
