I'm very surprised by the bad reviews on here. I went with my boo on a Thursday night. It wasn't exactly crowded, but there were several people there. The food was excellent, and the portions were so large, that we had two more meals off of the leftovers. The waiter was attentive without being rude. We were deep in conversation, and he would wait for the appropriate moments to ask if we needed anything. They were willing to make substitutions on the appetizer sampler since one of the options was non-vegetarian. Overall, it was a pleasant wonderful meal. Pros: The best spanakopita and baklava I've had in this town. The vegetarian mixed platter was amazing and fed two people for two meals. Excellent service. Cons: Awkward location and the baba ganoush tasted a little weird.

Starlight room is a great spot to celebrate a special evening out. Situated on the 21st floor of the Sir Francis Drake Hotel, the classy club offers beautiful views of San Francisco's city sky scape. Here, the rich, extravagant interior and luxurious lounge chairs are fit for a king. Perfect place to sit back, relax, and sip champagne or a signature "Cable Car" cocktail. Bar bites include seafood snacks, gourmet pizzas, and fillet mignon sliders. For a sweet treat, enjoy a plate of fresh strawberries, rich chocolate sauce, and sweet cream frache. Nothing screams "special occasion" more! Continue your night on the dance floor. Live music playing all ages hits in a "wedding party" way. The intimate dance space is surrounded by large, open windows offering romantic 360* views of beautiful city below. Service is spectacular. The bouncers, bartenders, and helpful hostesses all go the extra mile to make the night one to remember. Be prepared to pay the price for the room's royal treatment. Cover is 15 a person and cocktails are costly. But an evening at the Starlight Room is worth every precious penny. Guaranteed to make you're next celebration sweet - the Starlight Room is a delicious San Francisco treat!

Mamajuana has got to be one of the best Dominican restaurants in the city. It's an upscale place with large, delicious portions and a distinct classiness that I wasn't expecting. Every meal I've had there, (while somewhat pricey) has been more food than I could eat in a sitting - and I've always been happy to bring some home. The place can definitely get packed (especially on Flamenco nights), and you may have to wait to get a table (it's worth it). They've got some deals on food and Sangria if you're there before 7pm, and the staff is always attentive.
