by Kenneth R. on Once a year our small, little band of Smithsonian staff photographers make our way from DC up to NYC for the PDN PhotoPlus convention. After a reception hosted by Hasselblad at MILK studios in Chelsea one year we asked our hosts what the best local restaurant was within walking distance. They suggested The Park. We've been going every year since that suggestion and its one of the annual highlights of our visit. Good food, great atmosphere (from a photographer's perspective, what The Park has done with lighting in the evening is magical), good service, great friends all combine together to make great memories. Highly recommended!
by Clement H. on Came here for the GRAND Re-OPENING last night and fully packed. The interior was redone wonderfully with some nice enhencement of 2 more bars up and down stair. I like the new structures, and the crew were very cool. No cover charge and drinks was quite fair like $8 to 10/glass. The overall is fierce and I had a good time. Will definitely go back.
