So after stuffing our faces down the street at Cha Cha Cha's, we headed here to get our drank on or maybe some groovin'. It was still pretty early and it wasn't completely packed yet. We walked in, made a left turn at the sight of the empty bar, and promptly ordered drinks. We managed to stake out a corner in front of coat check & the bathroom to just hang out and talk. The guys were bonding a lot more (over sports, ofc) as the girls chatted it up and posed for some pictures. It was great hanging out with everyone and before you know it, I was out on the dance floor getting my groove on. I think my BF was watching from afar but eventually turned up for a dance or two. It was a great time and we had to find our way to the exit, winding through the restaurant part.

Now, I didn't get in the first time I was there, and it was a bit upsetting. and that night ended in a little yelling match outside. Now it seems that here, getting in is a matter of the following: knowing who to talk to, what to say, how to dress, how attractive you are, who you know, and body language, any casual slip up, and you're screwed. Not even kidding! Got in with model friends, we just left Simyone where I was the shortest most average looking girl there. I didn't think I could top that. But, 1 oak. I felt much smaller and uglier! EVERYONE there was a model. Not just the girls either. There were beautiful men too. I was just hoping they wouldn't catch me masquerading amongst the elite, and kick me out. I could be a hand model for all they know! So, I go to the bathroom for 2 seconds. Lose my group and my coat. it is snowing outside. Now, I know I was a little out of focus, but it is not as big a place as it seems. there are two table areas next to the dj. I knew I left my coat at the table. while I was looking for it, the security guy kept giving me trouble about it, and blocked me from the table area, I was JUST sitting at. I was offered a drink from the table of the owner and the "steves", but I guess that was sooo 5 minutes ago. Anyway I told the guy what happned and I kept looking lost all over the place. Like an idiot. hey you look like that model guy in the group I was with, and so do you, and you... But on my way out, when I was about to give up another security guy comes up to me, hands me my coat and says "next time don't leave it around" psh. other than the occasional 'tude from the staff, ( I got told I couldn't stand in the hall area between the downstairs, and the exit. when I was the only person there desperately trying to locate my friends in the only place quiet enough for my cell phone) its got gorgeous people good music *may cause a hangover* the party is still hoppin' at 4 or 5, I can't remember what time it was. awesome decor. a sweet fireplace to cozy up next to someone special you might meet. just don't dare go by the tables. you aren't good enough, peasant! if you are of the average height ladies, but still as pretty as those models, but better fed, invest in some 4-5 inch heels. I know I will. ps. i dont remember much dancing. the people arent so friendly. It's just another one of those exclusive clubs all attitude and no fun.
