by Anya R. on This Busbys is totally a different vibe from the one in Santa Monica. Parking is rough around here and better than risk getting a ticket you should just valet it. Better yet- if you can cab it that's ideal. Its mostly free here but sometimes when it gets busy they will charge you 5 bucks. When you walk upstairs to your left is a huge room that either has a DJ or a band playing. There is a big dance floor to get your dance on and a bar in the back. The other room has another bar, tables and chairs so that you can chill and talk to other people or get your grub on. There are also lots of TVS in there so you can watch sports too. The food is pretty decent here but its on the greasy side and unhealthy side but that's what you can come to expect from a sports bar. I've come here for happy hour to watch Laker games and a few times on a Friday and Saturday night to get my dance on. Its def a chill place with a diverse crowd. No hassle with the Hollywood lines and dealing with guest lists.
by Cornell Arnzen on There is something magically great about this place; when you go there its for the fact that there is the potential that something super fun is going to occur. However, I have never not had something completely insane, over the top or ridiculous occur (losing credit cards, losing coats in the middle of winter, spending too much money, meeting strange randoms). Every time I go there I say I am never returning again but there is something that keeps drawing me back and causing me to say "let's go to marquee."
