by Florrie Heral on I went to DNA on a Remedy Friday a while back ago. They were playing house music all night and almost everyone in the club was a dance enthusiast. I honestly don't think everyone would like this place because of the fact that it attracts a certain crowd within a certain subculture. I, myself love to dance whether it's with a partner or if I'm putting on a show. There's definitely a good vibe to this place. Nobody was overly drunk, in fact, I barely saw anybody even buzzed, they were so focused on the music and the dancing they barely made any trips up to the bar which was kind of nice in a sense for me and my friends because we got our drinks fairly quick. If you're not into upbeat house music and dance, you should probably stand clear of this place. This definitely did not come across as a place for singles to pick up on one another or to find that one nighter. Very little flirting here, but there's constantly people smiling and giving each other props on styles of dance. In short, if you're here to pick up girls, don't go here. If you're here to enjoy good house music in a non-pretentious, friendly, violence free environment then definitely give DNA a try. It has definitely become one of my favorite clubs.
