I can smoke and sit down without having to pay for it. lol I was a regular in the past and the security were always love. If you want a chill spot that's more casual than Jamaican Gold @ Ivar orJamaican Live @ Cabana this is it. Oh yeah, FREE PARKING on the street. Can't get better than that in LA. Oh yeah, The samosas the outdoor vendor, King, sells are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. If he's there you definitely should try. mmm..
by Rod Chace on Okay so I came here for the rateclub Elite event. I like the layout, I enjoy the place in general, but would have given 3.5 stars. It's pretty cush and there is lots of seating and the bar is a nice size, but the dance floor seems a little confused (a little too big or a little too small) and the music sucked (not loud enough for dancing, in general unmemorable and not fun), and i actually was really creeped out by the people peering into the 1-way glass trying to see through it with cupped hands while I did my business in the bathroom, and yes, what the hell, the lock was broken, so i had to go with a friend that could block the door. i'd go back for a single drink with lots of friends in tow just to use the photo booth but probably not unless a drunken night of debauchery found me int he neighborhood....which is unlikely, since mission between anything past 4th and before 16th won't find me when the sun ain't shinin. and yeah, the drinks were inconsistent. maybe it's just because we were there for a special freebie kind of deal, but mr. smith's did the free drink thing and they were awesome and consistent, even between bartenders. yeah you know, 3 stars.
