ONLY BEEN ON SUNDAYS, but that said- Greenhouse on Sunday nights is pretty much the best place to go for dancing. Upstairs is really high energy, belt it out music while downstairs is usually more like trance or house music. Even in the Summer its super well air conditioned, unlike Ritz where you hit that gross wall of heat as soon as you walk in the dance room. Credit minimum is $50 though, FYI.

One of the biggest SALSA clubs in LA! You can't argue with the fact that out of the sheer number of dancers here on Friday and Saturday nights, you are sure to dance with a large variety of salsa dancers! It's more like a huge ballroom with a bar! Only drawbacks to this place are the consistently high cover with no guest list ($15) and the strict dress codes and floor rules (no dips).

Man that line out the door and around the corner sure is offputting. But once you get in and hear those awesome mixups, its totally worth it. It one of the few places where I willingly (well sorta, I think covers are ridiculous in general) cough up 8 bucks, or worse 12 (ouch!) and have a great night dancing. Its a good thing it only happens fortnightly, otherwise I'd be in debt. The crowds are mixed and great, the space is pretty big but its still very packed. Bootie makes me do things I don't usually do; you're such a tempting whore. I'll see you again realllll soon.
