by S B. on What a Freakin' Joke. I've been to this place many times and had a decently good time. The bouncers have been OK and they have honored their specials for the most part. However, last night I went there and for some reason the bouncer had it in for my friend. My friend is 24 almost 25 and they denied him entrance saying his ID "was not him." They didn't even ask for an alternate form of ID and would not even let him talk and just kept saying "that's not you". Then when we tried explaining the situation to them they told us to step to the side and were very rude, confrontation and very unprofessional. Me and the group I was with are all over 21, neatly dressed and reasonably good looking. But for whatever arbitrary reason they decided to be jerks to us. I have a feeling it was they didn't want to honor their "Dollar Days" special which is admission for $1 before 12 am. They just lost lots of business, not only that night, but for the future because we are sure as hell not going back after being treated like that. Their management should really screen who they hire as bouncers better, because they are going to continue to lose business if they treat people like that. Avoid this place.
by Abdul Tardiff on Fun place, for a gigantic club. The music mix was solid and the crowd was extremely attractive. Get there early if you're male and reserve a table. Nothing will happen for the first hour, but it's worth it later on. Not an intimate place, so if you like that go for Mynt or Mokai or Rok Bar. But pretty much the gold standard for large-scale clubbing.
