The first thing that hits you is the Dia de Los Muertos theme. The second thing that hits you is the margaritas. Okay, with the obvious out of the way... Salsas, guacamole and chips were tops. My ahi tuna tacos were the best fish tacos I've had yet. Husband had chile rellenos and seemed to like it. The friends we were visiting had a melt-in-you-mouth tuna steak with a cilantro dressing. I have to echo what another reviewer said - the bathroom was super creepy. Red lights, kinda dim and the one stall with the alcove and curtain...what's up with that? I poked behind the curtain to make sure there wasn't a person back there. The food and drinks were good, but the bathroom creepy factor and the overall dimness at our booth that kept us from seeing our menus or food keep this from being a 4-star.

Did I miss something? I am so uncool, I don't get this place. I am not impressed at all. Oh, please. A burger boutique. Please. It is expensive, extremely noisy and the food is mediocre. People like watching people, this is why it's crowded, because it's new and cool. Not because of the "boutique-burger" flavor. I would rather have a real hamburger at Fuddruckers, the Vortex, or even the Varsity, thank you very much.

Friday lunch had one very simple requirement: a patio fit for the gorgeous day. Verdict, Front Page News. Done and done!! It'd been awhile since I'd paid FPN a visit, and it was a treat to go back. The patio is simply lovely, and yesterday's weather was perfect for enjoying it. My friend and I decided to split a couple of things, and happened to decide on picks I hadn't tried before. The sliders - YUM! Three little burger goodnesses, with cheese and roasted onions. Then, the "fish and chips" special for Friday - catfish and yummy "bbq" fries. A tad spicy, fry-wise, and the tartar sauce served with has a definite kick. Good place, super patio, great food. I will be back to enjoy all of it in this pretty time of year!!
