by Gary W. on SHOOT OUT AT CLUB SUEDE 11:40 PM ON 2-6 I work in Fisherman's Wharf and heard the gun shots and saw around 100people scatter from outside of club suede where 3 men with Guns were gunned down by sfpd. 2 of which are dead....so yeah. You might not want to go there for your own safety. Rumors are that they are closing, if they hadn't yet...they will be now. Maybe staying away from Fisherman's Wharf is the best for everyone. I am looking for a new job as of today, because the crime rate is rising. Go there after dark at your own risk and hope you make it out alive
by Booker Koc on it would be awesome if we could parse out the "i went here to see a show" reviews from the "i went here to club" reviews, but what are you gonna do. this is a "i went here to see a show" review and everything about it was a-ok. i sat up in the giant seat/stairs in the balcony and had a grand old time not being pushed upon in the pit. i nearly walked into the men's bathroom, but stopped by a kind soul before i took the plunge in. i'm very relieved that the website now actually lists concert information, because it was once impossible to find any valuable information on there. since i can think of no circumstance in my life where i would be persuaded to club here, or club in general, unless someone poured a liter of vodka down a funnel stuck into my throat, i'll refrain from commenting on that front, except that it actually looks like they get a decent crew of djs to spin. i just can't go to anything called avaland with a straight face.
