I've been here twice and will be coming a lot more in the near future. On a recent trip to check out the great sangria other rateclubsers keep writing about, Iliana P and I discovered a sweet slice of sangria heaven. Yum yum. It's tasty and strong, which is exactly what you want from the stuff. Had a little food, too, which was also tasty. Prices aren't too bad. I'd only been here once before on a hookah night and found the hookah experience somewhat lacking, but I was alone at the time. I'll have to give it another shot.

Went there for the New Years Eve party and had a blast. Drinks were a bit spendy but then again I seem to not get out much so maybe $8 is the standard price for a drink these days. That said the bartender was awesome (not to mention beautiful) and helped my wife with her drink selections. Everyone was super friendly including a foreign guy who smoke hardly and English but was having a blast and decided that hugging everyone repeatedly would be a great idea. Nobody seemed to mind because he seemed like such a nice guy and was totally harmless. The actual stroke of midnight was a bit of a letdown. No traditional song and the ballons that were setup to fall at midnight were not released. Party goers had to jump up and try to knock them out of th enets. That's really my only complain though. They should have played Old Anzine (no idea how to spell that) and done something with the balloons. That's all I'm saying. If I lived closer to the city I'd get to this place often for their Thursday night 1984 thing. Where else are you going to get to dance to Depeche Mode music videos?
