by Honey R. on I love this place. Consistently no cover, with a convenient parking lot right across the street ($10). Close to Kitchen 24 so we don't even have to drive anywhere for some grub before or afterwards. I love the live music at this place. It's got a really great atmosphere. People sing along really loudly, dance in front of the piano, etc. I've only been here a few times, but always on Saturday nights. It's touch and go on the crowd situation. Sometimes it's packed and other times, very chill. I really liked the guy from tonight. Piano guy, sang mostly Elton John... I think his name was Joel. I enjoyed all the songs he played, whether I knew them or not.
by Rossana Blacock on It's meat packing, models, pretentious, trendy, door/bouncer sh*t... all that hoity toity B.S. I hate. But, once inside, the music and dancefloor invite me. People are there to dance, and that's why I dig this place. For a small space, it's conducive to dancing. There's a nice patio out back. Only drawback, you could say, is it's for house music heads only. They don't play anything else. I love my house music, so I don't mind it.
