by Jordan P. on Pandora has: 1) great staff- seriously top-notch, especially for NYE, you guys killed it. 2) great prices 3) a great bar 4) awesomely themed private rooms 5) convenient to public transportation Pandora does not have: 1) a great selection of music 2) a good selection of music 3) an average selection of music 4) the basic sing-along songs you would find on a wal-mart karaoke machine.
by Sara M. on Inspired by my finesse and skill on Wii Bowling. And because poppin' bottles in the club was soooo last year... and the year before that... and the year before that... I decided to celebrate my date of birth at Lucky Strike. Fact: Video games must not be confused with real life. I bowled a 52 whereas on Wii I've bowled a 260. Yeah. Fact: I can actually play pool. While impressed by my overall skill with the stick, I was not surprised. *snicker* Fact: They don't allow kids after 6pm. Fact: That makes me happy. Fact: They have a bar/lounge area that is very shi-shi and maybe a little foo-foo. Fact: The food was ok. Basic bar food fancifully dressed. Fact: As is with all of my birthday celebrations, most of us were drunk, some were sick the next day. Fact: We all had a good time.

Great place, cool artwork coming through, friendly and quick bartenders, super hot coat check girls. Fanfuckingtastic! If I had to review the music, I'd probably say 2.5 stars. Just not my taste in music, although some of the times I've been there it's been ok. Just catering to the crowd I guess. If I had to review the crowd, there are definitely times I'd give it one star. One night a really wasted girl walked up to my friend and asked him if he could get her coke. What the fuck? Just because a person has tattoos, he must be able to get drugs? Maybe, but not for you, stupid bitch. (kidding). And just when I think it's a completely awful crowd, I'll get suckered into going and end up having a blast and really enjoying the crowd. I wish more people I enjoyed would discover this place - I'd be in heaven. Oh, but never on Wednesdays. Qool is NOT my scene!
