The service definitely left something to be desired. They only had one waiter servicing the whole room but my friend and I still believed he could have done way better. He would sit at the bar waiting for drink orders to be made instead of going around and checking if tables needed anything. I even approached the bar at one point to try and get some service but the bartenders steadfastly ignored me and the waiter just gazed ahead unseeingly. I waited a few minutes for service at the bar (and with 2 bartenders and a small crowd that's just plain ridiculous) before giving up and just waiting for the waiter to come back to my table. I ordered the Quill which is a trumped up martini. Not impressed. It was strong but overpowering in a bad way. My friend and I needed orange slices as a chaser just to drink it. He got the fizz drink which was sweet and strong. Worth $12 plus tax/tip? No. The decor was interesting and I think it could be a cute date spot if you want something that tries to maintain some exclusivity and are willing to shell out some serious cash for mediocre drinks. The small drink list leaves much to be desired. Having experienced the Frankin Mortgage & Investment Company- this place pales in comparison. If you want a legit speakeasy experience try there. This isn't worth the money. I won't be coming back here again.

*A Word of Caution* That slide is dangerous! No matter how exciting it seems, do not attempt to slide down without permission. You'll most likely injure yourself at the bottom because you'll fly off of it without someone to catch you there. Then the bouncers will threaten to kick you out. You can't go on the slide in a dress or skirt, but I wouldn't wear shorts either because the friction will probably burn your legs. Aside from any slide mishaps, it's a pretty fun place. Good music, but the dance floor got way too crowded early in the night. I liked the overall vibe when I wasn't feeling claustrophobic, although I'm not so sure about the bellybutton-esque ceiling design. Note to the guys: They seem to strictly abide by a one-to-one guy/girl ratio unless you're willing to spend a ton on table service.

clermont lounge is one of the most...unique....places i've ever been. i don't know if there's really any other way to describe it. i mean, where else can you find an array of 40+ strippers getting completely nude and crushing, um, various things with, um, various body parts. i love the set up, with the bar centered around the stage and pole, so that getting drunk while you're enjoying the strip show (which may be a necessity for some...) is easy, without the need to go back and forth or deal with the often neglectful cocktail waitresses. i also appreciate that, as if the bar and the plethora of strippers weren't enough, clermont gives you the option to entertain yourself on tuesdays with karaoke. surprisingly, their regulars consist of more than just the drunken off-key crooners, but there are some drunk people there that can actually sing! overall, the atmosphere of this place is great, and i would definitely recommend the experience to anyone of legal age, regardless of whether or not they'll actually enjoy it. it's just an experience that shouldn't be missed...
