by Jaime L. on This place is your regular sports bar that happens to be located in a very busy part of town, which equates to you having to pay more for just the mediocre. Hey, if you have to make rent then make rent, but at least keep the prices reasonable or up the food quality. Thankfully, however, I was here during one of WWDC's after parties. The place got packed so fast that I could hardly think straight. So here I am, on the ramp part that connects the pool tables and the sports area waiting for Beau G. to come back with the free drinks, I don't know anyone around me and I feel claustrophobic and strange. Maybe it's because I don't know OpenCL or C++, or the difference between either one of them. This place can get so crowded that even the most extroverted characters have a hard time navigating around. Then, walking down the ramp with a beer in hand and a soft, confident countenance, was The [Future] Boy. In an effort to restore any self-confidence I stopped him and said, "Hey! Hey! I remember you...Harlot!", to which he replied, "Uh...no". Let's try this again. "Yeah, remember, I bummed a cigarette off you at Harlot on Monday..do you...remember me at all?", and finally it jogged his memory. Now we're getting married. 3 stars because sometimes the worst of situations turn out to be the best of them.
by Frederick Frohlich on Alright. Someone has to say it --- Ibiza is totally an Asian club. Believe you me, I'm no stranger to or hater of the Asian social scene, but a whitey needs a little warning! Yes whiteys you will have bigger (albeit natural) boobies, a bigger ass and you'll be generally larger than all the other girls there. Be prepared to get a few "hey sexy white girl" come-ons too. But otherwise, sleazeballs are sleazeballs, skanks are skanks and this club is like any other. The drinks are overpriced, after 11 the cover is like $20, it is over crowded and sweaty. Ladies -- dress skanky, everyone does. Low cut tops and short ass skirts are prevalent. So why'd I give it 3 stars? What is Ibiza's saving grace? The music. Possibly the best DJ in town, my friends and I haven't had so much fun dancing in a long time. Oh and the bathrooms weren't bad either. There's a nice and big, full length mirror for the ladies-- always a must when boobs and crotches are so dangerously close to full exposure. Now I have all the Asian-fetish horn-dogs of Seattle flocking to Ibiza's. Forgive me Ibiza, hopefully you'll let me in next time I want to get my groove on!
