This place is a hole in the wall and I never noticed it before. When we arrived around 9pm, the place was dead and the slide was closed off. The women out numbered the men and our group was more than half of the population in the place. The drinks were expensive and the music was bad when we first arrived. As the night progressed more people piled in and the music got better. We eventually had to leave because the place was too hot and stuFfy. Overall we had a good time dancing once the music improved. I'm not sure if I would come here again...it's a little too small and expensive for my tastes.

This is a seriously crusty, smoky dive bar, which every city needs. Bathroom is a combo of mold, woodrot, eat pu**y graffiti and a lack of toilet paper and working door locks. Might want to take advantage of the band break to find another place to pee. $5 Ginger Jameson drink special served in a pint glass was powerfully delicious. Came to see Lloyd's Rocksteady Revue. Singer Jonathan Lloyd is on a personal mission to stir up the ska scene in the city. http://www.myspace.com... They will be playing for free (before 9) every Weds in March. Very fun show. They don't come on until 10, but you can hang out in the creepy basement playing darts, ogle the Elvis shrine, or catch up with your friends until they go on. Cheers~
