by Mollie Summerton on I brought my Italian and his friend Riccardo (another Italian) here for some happy hour specialties one Friday night. Let me tell you, the food was good! I was pleasantly surprised with the food quality. It was so unexpected and so affordable! Half priced appetizers! I imagined small tapas-like portions, but they gave you a lot of food! Three people ate the spinach-artichoke dip, nachos, calamari, and the never ending salsa and chips. And all for $40! Plus, for one hour, we had free drinks! I drank two glasses of wine for free with my yummy food and my company ordered some soft drinks and one vodka-seven. We were so thrilled! The patio was comfortable, light and full of hip Los Angelenos. Oh and did we mention our awesome waitress? She even danced the night away with us in between serving her tables, which mind you, she did very well by the way. The owner was sweet, honest and even made his way to our table to say hello. I was so impressed and let me tell you, I'm a fan and I encourage you guys to give this a shot. Do it! You will not regret it and trust me, this place deserves it!
by Curt L. on *Clap*Clap*.....Nice try! This is one of the more "happening" clubs in San Francisco. The ambience of the place is nicely set with the mood lighting. However the only mood I'm usually put in when I visit this place is CRANKY! You can't mimic an upscale, pretentious club if you don't have decent temperature control mechanisms in place. If this is a temple, I'm praying for someone to fix that effin Air Conditioning. The women are lucky they're all in dresses. If I could party in my undies, I might like this place a little bit more...but people would probably like me a less and its just creepy. The smoking area is outdoors so I'm usually out there trying to cool off. The downstairs dance floor is just wayyyy tooo hot. The Good ------------------------------------------------- -If you look good or looking for people who look good, you 'd probably be partying here. -Outdoor smoking area to mingle and breathe -Upscale atmosphere -Decent DJ's -Three Dance Floors The Bad -------------------------------------------------- ------------- -They price the entrance like a Vegas Club...Can't match the experience -The women still aren't friendly here -Being GQ'd up in a sauna -Overcrowded bar and super-slow bartenders. You have to visit TEMPLE at least once. I can't deny that most of the hottest parties go on here. Just bring a gym towel for the sauna party.
