What a great venue!!! Had a blast!!!!!! Saw Jay Mohr on Saturday night and laughed the entire time!!!! He is hilarious! Since this review isn't about his stand-up comedy, I will try to focus on the actual venue. First, don't even think of trying to find parking. You'll never find it, unless you know someone in the area with one of those permits. Just valet the ride...really it's cheap ($6 plus a tip) and you are right there. The staff is super friendly and the people are really cool and down to earth. We got in, ordered drinks, and were ready to laugh. I was still recovering from Tokyo Delves so I stayed away from the tropical drinks and ordered a merlot. Honestly, it wasn't all that great tasting, but I did feel really good after drinking one glass. Didn't order any food since I had wanted to go to Canter's Deli afterwards...mmmm, I dream of Canter's black and white cookies. The food that other people ordered looked good, but hey that's something you will need to check out. The venue is small so every seat is good. Definitely a fun place to go, if you are going to watch a good comic. Would definitely go back, because I just don't believe that you can ever laugh too much.

Okay, so let me first say that I DID NOT wait in line to get into Duvet so my opinion may be a little different than the others. My girls and I went to Duvet to see Hunk-a-mania, the delicious male strip show prior to Duvet turning into a nightclub. Let me review that first - so the men are definitely cute and I'd say only half of them are gay! I especially loved Dmitriy (cute baby face Russian) and Paris. The chocolatey men were also delis but I can't remember their names for some reason, oh it must have been the visual of their third legs that's blocking my memory. hahaha. I'd definitely recommend this place for a Bacholorette or Girls fun night out. HOWEVER, caution to those who plan to put their bacholorette/friend on stage! I saw too many chicks in dresses get tossed, bumped and grinded on stage and with all that came a lot dresses being pulled up and rolled over butts! So if you put her on stage - I'd advise either pants or at least cute underwear because they will be visualable to all in attendence. Be forewarned! Our group had more fun setting at the table near the stage and on the beds getting lap dances - so I'd recommend you spend your mula on that! You're friend won't regrett it. Okay, so the nightclub. I thought the size of the venue was perfect. Not to small so that it's not castro-crowded and the beds are great for just chillin' back and enjoying the music. The DJs - on point for the most part. They played the latest hip-hop, R&B and pop, some R&B oldies, and of course MJ. My group had a blast dancing and singing along to all the songs. By like 1 we were beat (we'd been there since 9:30 for the show) so we headed out. After walking out I saw the crazy line and was definitely grateful we'd gone early so that we didn't have to be in that crazines. Call and make a reservation before you go so you can bypass the lines - if you can do that - it's worth it.

This is the perfect place to come and chill...to me, it has mroe of a lounge environment than a club, even when it's poppin. it's never over-crowded with people, even on busy nights, so there's always space to people watch, which is one of my favorite things to do. they've also got a nice dance floor, where people can regularly be seen getting wild, but really, in halo, it happens everywhere. i absolutely love the setup...there's a bar on the entry floor, then two landings with couches, tables, and free space for dancing (or whatever else people do in clubs...), then a top tier with a dj, dance floor, and stairs cascading down from the ceiling that gives you prime viewing of everything that's going on. from there, you can peer at those that are bold (or drunk) enough to shake their asses, and then see even farther over through a clear railing the bar below and all of the people sitting down their socializing. drinks are also great, and i particularly enjoy their lemon drop martinis, but you can never go wrong with their $2 grand marnier shorties
