I've eaten here twice. Once on my birthday, our food took 2 hours to get to the table. Secondly, they gave us a croissant cut into 5 pieces about 45 minutes into waiting ... when there were 7 of us there. THANKS... we'll just toss a coin to see who gets a slice of this $3 croissant. On the second occasion, the service was much better and the food definitely came to the table in a very timely fashion. I could tell they had worked those kinks out now that they've been around the neighborhood awhile. Unfortunately we ordered a plate of various meat patés ... and it was HORRIBLE. They were flavorless, strangely textured, and the bread that came with it was so thinly and poorly sliced that when you finally were able to rip off a piece, the poor thing looked like the crust of your PB&J dangling from your fingertips. I then ordered the Lamb Chop which was ok, but so hard to cut. It was just hard to eat in general and my boyfriend's pork chop wasn't much better. If you want exceptional pork chops, I'd go across the street to Buenos Aires... But I do have to say the curried grits were a-m-a-z-i-n-g. I'll give them that. We also overheard the other table say that everyday they have a $2 beer ... that only their regular customers know about... so now you know! And you won't have to waste $6 on draft beer. And finally, after eating all of this overpriced, not-so-stellar food in a i-can-barely-see-you room with a cocktail that tasted like incense ... I don't know how soon I'll be rushing back there.

MJQ.....how did you stay in business longer than any other club out there? I went to MJQ on Wednesday night. They have a break dancing room and in the main area they played British rock music. There is a huge hipster crowd here but a loyal following. I've been here Saturday nights and enjoyed myself. Saturday night is hip hop and house music. They only have a cash bar . I didn't like the fact that they aren't a full service bar. I was trying to get 3 Wise Men Shot aka Liquid Crack (made up of Jager, Rumple Minze, and Gold Schlager) but they didn't have Rumple Minze or Gold Schlager. They only have the basic liquors, PBR and Heinken. But what am I to say? They been around when other clubs have been closing. I'll be back.
