by Penny Labor on Great mix of people in here once you get past the Too-Cool-For-School bouncer who stole Ushers hat and the scarf from the "I'm on a Boat" SNL video. I really like how they show music videos of the songs they play earlier on in the night. I can just watch the videos and mimic what they do and I'm an instant phenom on the dance floor. Maybe one day they'll play MTV's classic show "The Grind" with Eric Nies. So good. Anyways they have normal clubby prices for beers and drinks though they do need a better selection and shouldn't run out of Sam Adams at 10:30pm. There is a little VIP area that we were in that was fun since it's up a bit higher, but the floors are carpet and sticky like a marshmallow! Extra points for tables that are made out of speakers. Nice touch. The music is pretty standard top 40-ish with a bunch of MJ thrown in because I think he died this year.
by Marine Rheaves on Good beer choices. Veggie burgers and falafel. Low lights and lots of wooden decor. Cheap prices. Personable staff. On Ponce. Dead right after work. All this = perfect place to meet a friend to catch up over drinks after work. Nasty-ass bathroom, and non-smokers, you'll smother if someone lights up in the place. The good far outweighs the bad.
