Came here a while ago with someone I cared about very much; she is not around anymore but Tao is. I had meant to do a review then but as it worked out, I am glad I waited. As I remember, the drinks are well made and interesting, the food is very good (in a conservative sort of way) and it is a very popular place for the "let's get together after work crowd." I had a good time then and am having a good time now.

With 933 reviews .... there's not much more to say about this place. Check out the average and you'll know that this is one of the go-to spots in DTLA. So .... let me just say this. If you're on a date and you need some help, have out of town guests or just wanna feel like you know where to go .... come by the Edison. You're guaranteed to enjoy the nostalgia and history of knowing that this place was one LA's first power plants. I think you'd enjoy it more on a weeknight if you hate lines, crowds and just want to enjoy some drinks. Come on Friday or Saturday night if you want to practice your game in line so when you get inside, you might actually have a chance. Try not to drink too much because they will cut you off ... seriously. Oh yeah, leave the tennis shoes, hats and t-shirts at home ... because everyone who comes here means bid-nessss. In closing .... this place is lovely.
