WE HAD A BLAST HERE! And on a Tuesday night! It was the KOBE QONQUEST promotion. We watch Kobe Bryant battle it out with Ray Lewis (Linebacker for Baltimore Ravens) on Guitar Hero. The drinks were nice. Not too pricey. $12 which is standard for Hollywood. We danced and enjoyed ourselves. Woohoooo!!

I had the fortunate pleasure to try this place out in the first week it was open.  I'm not much on taking ambiance and the style of a restaurant into consideration, but I have to say, I was impressed with the way this place looked and the feel it had.  Dark, but not too dark.  Music playing, but not too loud.  And the food was on the money.  I started off with the lamb sausages, and they were on the money.  They came with a side of dipping sauce which was fantastic, but I felt the sausages stood on their own, even without the sauce.  To keep things simple and consistent, I went with the lamb chops.  I have to say that the sauce wasn't as dynamite as I was hoping for, but the lamb chops themselves more than made up for it.  They were pretty phenomenal.  I had a feeling this wouldn't be the last time I'd be coming here. So this past Tuesday, some friends and I decided to hit this place up for happy hour.  I have to say, it's a good thing we did.  It just seemed like the perfect place to do an appetizer smorgasbord.  Before I knew it, we were staring at tuna ceviche, lamb meatballs and (what I'm pretty sure Danielle C. was referring to when she was talking about the potato thingies) chili and chorizo potato croquettes.  Everything on the table was amazing.  And just when I thought it couldn't get any better, the mussels came out.  Perfect way to cap off the plethora of apps.  Actually, the perfect part about it was that all of the appetizers were only $5. And I'd be remiss if I forgot to mention the great drink specials they had going on for happy hour, too.  Most of the specialty cocktails were $6 (the one with the cucumber and gin was a big hit at the table), beers were only $4 and wine was half off, I believe.  And for a Hollywood joint with food that good, that's a pretty reasonable price for some drinks! Needless to say, I'll be making a stop here again sometime very soon.
