It'd be another thing if the girls were actually good looking. The location is ghetto even tho it's in "Hollywood" should shut down like lot 46 in frisco lol Don't waste your time and $$.
by Tyler Shingler on I went to Estate on gay night and honestly, I didn't have that bad of a time. We got there early and the dance floor was empty, so my friends and I decided to get things going. The cover was expensive, but honestly, no more expensive than most Boston clubs. The drinks were overpriced as well, but what do you expect? That's why pregaming was invented. The music wasn't bad, I actually like the decor of the club, and I like that it's small - but under no circumstances would I go there on a straight night. I like to dance, not be groped by strangers.
by Jae Vanvoorhees on For a place known as Roosevelt Hotel I wondered what the hype was about. The place is crammed between sunset and hollywood (luckily there's not much traffic on the backside of the hotel) so I can turn left to get valet. I was there for a work event and my boss booked a room there so she can shmooze until 2am. Walking to her room, I noticed the exterior looked like a cheesy 60s motel. If they renovated the hotel, you can't tell from the exteriors. Also, my boss asked "Is that a parking structure"? Instead of the blue skies, there's a large parking structure right above the cheesy motif. We get to her room and notice it's renovated with contemporary furniture and Kiehl's products. It's a bit on the small side even for a regular hotel room. I think it's over-hyped. I guess it's only good for planning events. We were there for a Virgin Unite event but I gotta say, not sure if the catering was part of the hotel or not but the food was appalling. I can't believe they served that food to Salma and Charlize!
